This is a list of stages in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.

List of stages[]

Avengers Headquarters[]

Avengers Headquarters

Avengers Headquarters

Avengers Headquarters takes place inside the Avengers Mansion, and is considered Captain America's home stage.

The stage is set inside a spacious chamber within the mansion. The room is cluttered with monitor screens and computer terminals installed on the walls, as well as a central terminal with a large screen held over it at the center of the stage. Several members of the Avengers' support crew can be seen strewn around either giving orders or sitting at the terminals monitoring the screens. Four screens show several images: the center screen shows intermitent artwork of Captain America, Storm and Sabretooth; the smaller one behind it shows Spider-Man, Beast and Wolverine; and the two on the left side show single images of Psylocke and Magneto.

In Captain Commando's ending, an Avengers crew member contacts all members of the Avengers to report that Onslaught was defeated. Captain Commando then appears in the screen and says that he and his team took care of him. Similar to the ending from his game, the Avengers Crew asks who he is, and he says "I am Captain Commando".

In Captain America's ending, he is in the HQ with the Capcom characters and explains that Onslaught was the embodiment of the dark emotions of Professor X and Magneto, and his conscience summoned heroes to stop him. With Onslaught's demise, the Capcom heroes return to their world and Captain America salutes them.

Blue Area of the Moon[]

Blue Area of the Moon

Blue Area of the Moon

Blue Area of the Moon takes place in the Blue Area of the Moon, a location first discovered by the Fantastic Four. The area is named as such due to the fact photographs of the moon's surface featuring it show it as an unusual blue color compared to the rest of the moon; this is due to the blue color of the buildings in the Dead City, giving the illusion that the part of moon's surface itself is blue.

The area is an artificial, Earth-like environment in the Moon containing the ruins of an ancient alien city and the citadel of Uatu the Watcher. The background of the stage contains a number of alien ruins, several shattered head sculptures strewn around, and an old, ragged American flag. The blue planet Earth is visible far away.

Ryu's ending takes place in this stage, where he can be seen training while Ken and Sean comment on Ryu's training, and Ken convinces Sean to ask Ryu to train him as a way to go shopping with his girlfriend Eliza Masters.

Dr. Wily's Military Base[]

Dr Wily's Military Base

Dr. Wily's Military Base

Dr. Wily's Military Base is inspired by the many secret bases used by Dr. Wily in the Mega Man series. This is considered the home stage of Mega Man and Roll.

The stage is set in what looks like an industrial area with several smoking chimneys on the background. The main building is an orange control room with blue glasses next to a small hangar-like area where a Wily Machine with spiked mace-shaped arms is stationed. Dr. Wily himself stands in front of it, walking back and forth and angrily yelling at the fighter with a megaphone. There's a large red "W" painted in the leftmost wall.

There are several Mega Man series enemies featured on this stage: At the left of the screen there are several giant Killer Bombs stored on the wall, with one being carried outside by a crane. In front of them stands Dark Man 1 moving back and forth carrying a damaged sack, with several Baccones and a single Met standing near. At the rightmost area of the stage lies a Metall Potton which has dropped a large pile of Mets under it. Finally, the Mad Grinder can be spotted on a road above the building when super-jumping.

Headquarters of Evil[]

Headquarters of Evil appears to be inspired in the "Tower of Babel", the final location in Forgotten Worlds.

The stage takes place in the headquarters of an unknown evil group. The room is made of bricks, with two circular doors at each end and red curtains adorning the sides. There's a two-level raised platform on the center with a door marked with a black logo. Unknown military soldiers, possibly Shadaloo Soldiers, can be seen formed at the platforms and in the background. At each side of the stage stand the second-to-last bosses from Forgotten Worlds, Whodin and Laidin, holding an Earth and a Moon above their heads; and in the top center stands a gigantic, shadowy version of the game's final boss, Celestial Emperor Bios.

Two other characters, one with a large claw and another with white hair and a mask, stand in the middle, and periodically several screens appear on the background displaying a number of unknown characters. All these characters appear to have been created specifically for this stage.

Chun-Li's ending takes place in this stage, where she tries to face M. Bison but ends captured instead. Bison states he plans to make her a member of Shadaloo, but fortunately Shadow appears and forces Bison to flee, saving her.

Headquarters of Evil has the distinction of being the only Capcom stage based on a series with no playable character representation, instead being represented only by a Special Partner, Unknown Soldier.

Honda's Bathhouse[]

Honda's Bathhouse takes place in Kapukon Yo, E. Honda's favorite Japanese bathhouse.

The stage is set in front of the men's bathroom entrance, with several men wearing towels or in underwear cheering on from the background. The room features basic stuff like a locker area and a large banner on the wall resembling the Japanese paiting on Honda's original stage. This stage features a unique element: if either of the players is struck against the right side of the screen enough times, the wall will break and reveal a second area, doubling the stage's total length.

The second area is set inside the women's bathroom. It closely resembles the original stage more than the first half, having a pink marble bathtube, shower stands, a large Japanese painting on the wall and a sumo ring on the floor. Six people can be seen cheering on from the background, including Sakura and her friend Kei Chitose, the former excitedly jumping and cheering on the fighters and the latter looking at her with embarrassment.

Live House of the Dark Realm[]

Live House of the Dark Realm

Live House of the Dark Realm

Live House of the Dark Realm is located on Makai, the primary setting in the Darkstalkers series, and as such is considered Morrigan's home stage.

The stage takes place inside a worn-out live house, with the zombie Lord Raptor playing guitar on the stage while two punk skeletons are headbanging to his music and two skulls in the table are opening and closing their mouths while watching. Most of the area is bare and shows a markedly dilapidated state, such as damaged amp equipment and a guitar on the left side, pieces of broken tables all over the floor and an old, run-down wooden door on the right side. After a full round is over, several small green spirits or "hitodamas" approach and surround the winning fighter.

Morrigan's and Gambit's endings take place in this stage, with the succubus meeting up with Ryu in her ending for a game of Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, and flirting with Gambit in his ending before he's whisked away by Rogue.

Neo St. Petersburg[]

Neo St

Neo St. Petersburg

Neo St. Petersburg takes place in the first stage from the Arcade game Strider, St. Petersburg, and is thus considered Strider Hiryu's home stage.

The stage is set in the red platforms from the initial area, overlooking the capital city and their various mosque buildings while several searchlights waves around in the background, much like in the original game. Original for this game is the inclusion of a zeppelin floating up in the center of the stage, bearing the half-star symbol of the Kazakh Federation, which is also present in three buildings.

Two laser signs can be seen at times in the sky: the first writes "Казахскар CCP" (a misspelling of "Казахская CCP", Russian for "Kazakh SSR"), while the second writes intermittently "A.D. 2048" and "Санкций" (Russian for "sanctions"). The first two are direct references to the intro scroll that opens up the Arcade's first stage, while the third word is original for this game. The Third Moon can also be spotted high up in the sky, in front of the real moon.

Onslaught[]

Onslaught stage

Onslaught

Onslaught is located on Manhattan and is based on the final confrontation against Onslaught on his story arc from the comic books. This is the final boss stage.

The stage takes place on a raised platform overlooking the city of Manhattan during midnight, below a starry night with a full moon. The city is under attack, and several buildings on the background can be seen set on fire. The stage is small and pretty much empty of details outside a satellite-like construct found at the right side. Onslaught is faced here as the game's final boss in his two forms.

As the final stage in Arcade mode, several character endings are set on this place either as they confront the remains of Onslaught's psychic energy (Jin, Hulk), leave the area after defeating him (Strider Hiryu, War Machine, Mega Man, Roll) or discuss the events that had unfolded (Spider-Man, Venom, Wolverine). The endings for Lilith and Shadow Lady also happen here.

This stage is also the default training stage in the console ports.

Rooftop of the Daily Bugle[]

Rooftop of the Daily Bugle

Rooftop of the Daily Bugle

Rooftop of the Daily Bugle takes place in New York City, between the rooftops of the Daily Bugle (with the first three letters from its name visible) and a neighbor building, webs connecting the two to avoid the fighters from falling. The background has several building, the most notable being the Baxter Building. This is considered the home stage of Spider-Man and Venom.

The Cliff of Desolation[]

Cliff of Desolation day

The Cliff of Desolation

The Cliff of Desolation takes place in a mountainous area at an unknown location.

The stage is set at a clifftop above the clouds, overlooking several other mountains at the distance. The only element of note is a large, triangular-shaped rock standing at the right side of the stage. The location starts with a clear sky at day, and as the round passes the stage transitions from day to sunset, and finally to night with lightning strikes.

Zangief's ending takes place in this location, as the Russian wrestler activates his Iron Body and challenges Blodia to a fight that ends in a big explosion visible from space.

Spider-verse

Spider-Man vs. Morlun

The Cliff of Desolation appears in the Spider-Verse comic book event as the location where the Vs. series incarnation of Spider-Man faces and is killed by Morlun.
