Steel Samurai Maya Smelting! is one of Phoenix Wright's Level 1 Hyper Combos in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Gameplay[]
Maya appears out of nowhere landing over Wright, intervening in the fight, and runs forward whilst flailing her arms with a barrage of punches that pushes the enemy through the screen. This Hyper Combo is available in all three modes.
Strategy[]
- Maya is invincible in this attack, which can allow Wright to land cleanly an Objection to transition into Turnabout Mode.
- It's a great Hyper Combo to use to yank Wright off an otherwise-damaging Hyper Combo, as Maya will hit most characters out of their moves whilst trading hits.
Trivia[]
- The name of this hyper combo is a direct reference to the "Steel Samurai", a fictional hero in the "Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo" TV series within the Ace Attorney universe, of which Maya is a fan.
